Outrigger Maldives Maafushivaru Resort

Crisp and chic villas in a dreamy setting

Contemporary architecture with clean lines and designed with a palette that mirrors the sparkling blue surroundings.

Outrigger Maldives Maafushivaru Resort is a small and romantic resort with wide white-sand beaches and a glorious lagoon. There’s a house reef for snorkelling, and if you board one of the dive centre’s boat trips, there’s a great chance of spotting turtles, manta rays, and whale sharks nearby.

Why we love Outrigger Maldives Maafushivaru Resort

  • The villas are crisply chic and reflect the blues and whites of the quixotic locale

  • Five private overwater platforms at Moodhu Grill make for a memorably romantic evening

  • The reefs are incredible – perfect if you’re planning to spend plenty of time snorkelling and diving
