Enjoy a memorable night out at Hong Kong’s historic Happy Valley racecourse, built in 1845 to provide horse racing for British ex-pats living in Hong Kong. Your guide will meet you at your hotel, and you’ll take the subway to Causeway Station for the Hong Kong Jockey Club at Happy Valley. Your ticket includes access to the public stand. Before the racing starts, you’ll receive a tutorial to get you race-ready. When the racing is over, you’ll take the subway to Jordan Street to visit Temple Street Night Market, Hong Kong’s liveliest market that sells everything from clothes and watches to handicrafts and artworks. There are plenty of street food stalls, and you may even see Chinese opera singers and fortune tellers. At the end of the tour, you’ll return to your hotel by public transport.

Cheung Chau is a small island about 10 km southwest of Hong Kong. You’ll spend the day exploring the island on foot and by public transport, starting at Pak Tai Temple, which is dedicated to the Taoist god Pak Tai. Built in 1783, the temple features traditional Chinese elements such as ceramic figurines on the roof ridges, murals containing auspicious motifs and stone lions in the forecourt. You’ll also see Cheung Chau Rock Carvings, 3,000-year-old Bronze Age carvings at Tung Wan Beach, a popular spot for swimming, windsurfing, and canoeing.
